Hi,
Just wanted to say this place "saved my life!". It provided me a peaceful, relaxed enviroment for me to get my life back on track and start enjoying life again! The people and staff were a great help for my success in sobriety. I learned a new way of living life and could not have done it on my own! This place will always have a place in my heart, and I'm thrilled to have been a part of theirs!
Sincerely,
Lee T.
Upon arriving here, I had completed 60 days of intense ministry rehabilitation with House of Dreams, which gave me a strong foundation to come here to live more independently but surrounded by community. I came here with nothing but my clothes, 60 days sobriety, and most of all, God! God and this place have been amazing! My relationship was restored with my husband and I got married here. My husband and I now serve in the ministry here. We began in a small room with hardly any money and rode bicycles to get where we needed to go. Because of the sober living community and being able to achieve sobriety due to the environment, I now have 3 years sobriety and my husband has 3 1/2 years sobriety. God has restored my vocation, and I have my own bookkeeping clientele. We now have an apartment, pets, and have the privilege to serve here! I am so grateful!
Sincerely,
Shanna L.
We are sad to see Jordan go! Jordan left us his testimony of his stay with Horton House.
"Living here has been a blessing from God. I thank him that He land me here two years ago. The management and the tenants have both been an inspiration for me to living in obedience to righteousness. It is here that I have come to know what true peace is. I hope others get to have a similar experience as I. Whenever I go I will always cherish the memories that I've made here at the Horton House.
P.S. Than you Ernest for always looking out for me and helping me become a better man. "

Zach was with us only a short time but has been reunited with his family! Here is Zach's testimony word for word:
"My experience at the Horton House was an experience that changed my life in so many ways for the better. I was taken in when I was so lost. I did not believe I could find my way back to the person I wanted to be again so bad.
This home saved my relationship with my loved ones and brought me back to the clarity of mind I needed to save not only those things, but also my life. Ernest and Dillon are the two people that helped me in ways I could never repay. They were real to me in my life when no one else wa and helped me learn how to continue my life sober and not throw it away anymore than I already was. If someone were to ever ask me if I think the Horton House was a good choice to better their life, I would recommend 10 of 10.
We hated to say good bye to Tomas! However, Tomas moved on to an apartment and to finish his Masters Degree in Social Work. He was a blessing! He left his testimony quoted word for word:
"Horton House was a huge blessing in my life. I came here a broken person. The community and support I received was phenomenal. It helped me to get my life back on track and headed in the right direction. Now I am finishing my degree in social work and will be graduating May of 2019. I am grateful for my time here and recommend it to anyone looking to take a step toward working the right path." Tomas
