Horton House sober living is committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for our members to begin (or continue) a life free from drugs and alcohol. Horton House is a family environment, which provides structure, accountability and support.
Especially critical to early sobriety is the support that is given and received by each housemate. It helps to come home to other people in recovery at the end of the day. It is comforting to be around others that are going through the same situations you are. It is important to have a sense of recovery "family". This sense of "family" will help to teach you how to communicate and cooperate with others, in a safe environment, so that each member can transition into a "normal" life.
We hope that you will choose Horton House and get to experience a sense of family and fellowship. We strive to make Horton House a great place to begin the road to recovery.
Come join our family!

Donations
We are always accepting donations for our fundraiser events and to help furnish or replace items in the house or help those members moving on to independence. We accept the following items:
Donations can be dropped off at 322 Smith Lane, San Marcos, TX 78666. We can also come pick up your donations by appointment only. We do ask to see the donations prior to committing to haul them away to insure the items are needed at the time. Please call Ernest at 512-667-9298 to schedule a pickup or drop off. Cash donations can be given via our Donate link at the bottom of the homepage.
Whether you help through monetary donations, volunteering your time, or spreading our mission through word-of-mouth, thank you. We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you.
We are now officially a 501C3, so we can give receipts for donations. Your donations help change lives! Cash donations and donations received for fundraisers help members coming from rehab or jail with their first 30 days membership dues. This allows the member 30 days to find successful work. Donations can also help with driver's licenses fees, bus passes, or medication needs until the member secures employment.
We thank you for your help! Please inculde your full contact information to include phone number and address when giving a donation, so we can send you a receipt!
We are dedicated to improving the lives of those in our community. Your contribution today helps us make a difference.
