Horton House First Fundraiser Garage Sale - September 2019
Fundraiser Garage Sale
Horton House held it's first fundraiser the first week of September 2019. We would like to thank all of the public, friends and family who donated items for resale in our fundraiser! We were able to raise $432 for our property taxes this year. We hope to raise money again in the Spring to help assist those men and women coming from jail or rehab that do not have their first month's dues. If we could help with the first 30 days, then that member would have 30 days to find a job.
We also like to thank R-Water, LLC from San Marcos, TX for donating manufacturing equipment used as clothing racks to hang all of our clothes. R-Water, LLC graciously donated one rack for keeps, and 4 racks to use during the sale. We would also like to thank Elissa Beach with Silo Glass in Wimberley, TX for matching our garage sale income by donating a match of $432.
We would like to inform the public that we will be using this fundraiser income to help pay our property taxes this year on all 3 properties. We are fully self-supporting through donations and membership dues.
